Dispute Resolution Solicitor/Chartered Legal Executive – full time – Welsh Bridge Shrewsbury

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and self-motivated lawyer to join our busy and well-established Dispute Resolution Team.

As well as managing your own caseload consisting of a variety of quality dispute resolution work, you will also be required to support and supervise other members of the team as well as participating in business development activities when required.

Ideally you will have a minimum of 5 years PQE, however if you are able to demonstrate experience gained in any of the areas listed below, we would be delighted to hear from you.

  • Commercial Litigation
  • Property Litigation
  • Contested Probate
  • Agricultural Disputes
  • Landlord & Tenant disputes
  • Consumer Litigation
  • Insolvency

You will also be able to demonstrate:

  • The ability to work efficiently and effectively, often under pressure, within a busy team setting.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise workload in order complete daily tasks to sometimes restrictive deadlines
  • Strong communication skill, both written and oral.
  • Strong IT skills, in particular Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.  Experience of using a legal Case Management System would be an advantage but is not essential.

This is a full-time position based at our town centre offices in Shrewsbury with allocated parking on site.

Commercial Property Solicitor – full time – Welsh Bridge Shrewsbury

We are currently seeking a Solicitor with 1-3 years PQE to expand our busy Commercial Property Team.  This is a varied and interesting role and an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team where you will advise a wide range of clients and manage a caseload with minimum supervision.

You will have sound knowledge of all areas of Commercial Property work including leasehold and freehold acquisitions; commercial leases, agreements, disposals and redevelopments; Commercial Property development work; financial property matters.

Commercial Property – Paralegal/Trainee Solicitor – full time – 12–18-month Fixed Term Contract followed by Training Contract – Welsh Bridge Shrewsbury

This is a varied and interesting role which will include providing transactional support for the team as well as liaising with clients and administrative support.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work efficiently and effectively within a busy team setting and have strong organisation and communication skills.

We are looking for someone who is keen to develop their career within the Property sector and has completed their law degree and LPC.

Residential Property  – Solicitor/Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive – full time – Whitchurch office

We are seeking a self-motivated individual for our busy office in Whitchurch to join our busy and thriving Residential Property Team.

You will have at least 1 year’s fee earning experience in either a residential or commercial property role and will be confident in seeing matters through from initial instruction to post completion.

You will be required to support others with existing matters, as well as being proactive in developing your own case load.

Residential Property Paralegal – full time – Whitchurch office

We are seeking a self-motivated individual for our busy office in Whitchurch to support our Residential Property Team, with a particular focus on new build homes.

As a Paralegal you will provide an important link between the client and the firm, having responsibility for all aspects of file management.  With supervision, you will be expected to assist and support the fee earners with a wide range of property matters and client liaison.

Experience of dealing with property matters and conveyancing process would be an advantage but is not essential.

Family Team Legal Support – full time – Welsh Bridge Shrewsbury

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with an interest in Family Law to provide administration support to our thriving team based in Shrewsbury.

You will be instrumental in ensuring the team functions effectively, carrying out a diverse range of administrative tasks as well as being the first point of contact for clients and new business enquiries.

We are looking for a candidate who is proactive with excellent organisation and communication skills.  A flexible ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to work well in a busy environment, often with strict deadlines, is a must.  You will also have good IT skills, in particular Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and Adobe.

Whilst it is not essential that you have a legal background, some previous experience in an office/administrative role is essential.

Duties will include:

  • File opening and archiving
  • Document production and drafting support
  • Use of Court and Land Registry portals
  • Preparation of trial bundles and court documents
  • Liaising with clients as required and dealing with new enquiries
  • Research
  • General admin tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning

Due to expansion, we are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team in Shrewsbury.

We are looking for candidates with lots of initiative, and great organisation skills. You will be comfortable dealing with a range of people and will have excellent attention to detail. You will also have strong IT skills and be able to demonstrate some relevant experience within an office or administration/secretarial role.

You will be the first point of contact for clients, so will need excellent communication and client care skills, as well as a professional and confident telephone manner.
