Finance & Administration Apprentice

Main responsibilities

  • Maintaining the company sales/purchase ledgers
  • Posting entries on the firm’s case management system
  • Calculating and checking to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct
  • Filing of invoices and other documents
  • Meeting month end tasks
  • Banking
  • Preparing letters and communications to be sent out
  • General office duties (filing, archiving, and scanning)
  • Deal with any Finance enquiries, whether by phone, email or face to face
  • Reception / switchboard cover

Qualifications

You will have achieved or be predicted:

  • GCSE or equivalent English (Grade C / 4 or above) Essential
  • GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade B / 5 or above) Essential

Experience

  • Experience of using Microsoft Office applications (particularly Word, Outlook and Excel) would be an advantage
  • Experience in a front of house/reception role would be an advantage
