Solicitor/Chartered Legal Executive | Wills and Probate Team
We are seeking an experienced Solicitor or Legal Executive to expand our busy and thriving Wills and Probate Team.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and well-established team providing legal services to clients across our offices in Shrewsbury and Whitchurch.
The role
This is a full-time role based at our Welsh Bridge office in Shrewsbury with occasional travel to our Whitchurch office.
Working collaboratively with our busy team at both offices, the successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of Wills, Probate, Estate Management and Administration of Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection matters.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your own knowledge and expertise whilst also helping to support junior members of the team.
You will also be encouraged to develop your caseload and contacts by taking part in networking and business development activities as required.
The candidate
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ relevant PQE and experience in the areas of work mentioned above.
Ideally, you will already be STEP qualified or have a desire to work towards this qualification as part of your development.
You will have excellent organisation skills and the ability to autonomously see matters through from initial instruction to completion. You will also enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues across both offices, ensuring that the team work together effectively.
You will have excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues and be able to demonstrate high standards of client care at all times.
Hours and benefits
- Working hours 37 per week – 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9.00am to 5.00pm Friday
- Starting with 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays
