We’re so pleased to announce the completion of our new Riverside Mural, which now adorns the river-facing wall of our Shrewsbury office!
Skilfully painted by local talent Matt Sewell, the mural elegantly captures the scenes of the River Severn against a sunset backdrop. Fittingly, Matt has included the beloved family of swans that often rest near the adjoining riverbank, accompanied by a large dragonfly and framed by a pair of colourful goldfinches.
Matt Sewell is a Shrewsbury-based artist and passionate ornithologist whose work has been featured by a number of prolific outlets and organisations, including The Guardian, BBC, and RSPB. His work has been shown in art exhibitions around the globe, and he has also written several of his own best-selling books.
Commenting on the piece, Matt said:
“I really enjoyed painting the mural. It’s a great location for me to be able to showcase my work and highlight some of the town’s beautiful everyday wildlife.”

We think Matt has done a wonderful job in capturing the river and its wildlife in his signature style. Our Shrewsbury office is sporting a vibrant new look, and we couldn’t be happier with the result!
