On Saturday 24 May, people from Shropshire and even further afield took to the West Midland Showground for the Shropshire County Show. Despite the wet weather, the showground was busy with visitors, traders and professionals. This year the committee introduced a professional quarter and Hatchers Solicitors LLP exhibited for the first time.
We opened our ‘Hatchery’ petting tent where children came throughout the day and held an assortment of chicks and ducklings. Our sunflower potting area was also a hit with children planting their own sunflower seeds and taking them home. Daniel Kawczynski MP joined in with the fun and planted a sunflower of his own.
It was a great day, well organised with a fantastic turnout from local businesses, showing that Shropshire is, as always, a force to be reckoned with. See you next year!
