Hatchers are once again sponsoring the Lecture Marquee at the 132nd Shrewsbury Flower Show, which takes place on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th August 2019.
The show is one of the country’s premier flower show events, attracting top exhibitors from all over the country.
The Lecture Marquee has another interesting and varied programme of seven lectures/demonstrations running continuously from 10.30am to 4.30pm on both days. Each day starts and ends with the ever-popular show favourite of Flower Arranging given by two experts from the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS).
In between these demonstrations, there will be a lecture given by this year’s Celebrity Gardener, David Domoney, as well as Chris Smith, Ben Mayho and the Show’s very own Gardeners’ Question time.
MLE Pyrotechnics Ltd will providing the evening fireworks to a live rendition of the 1812 Overture. This year sees the addition of spectacular full colour lasers being used as part of the firework displays, bringing the evenings to a stunning climax.
Other attractions included the well-known Aussie television chef, John Torode, who returns to the show for a second time, as well as Gary Mullen and the Works (Queen Tribute Band) performing live on the Friday evening, and Scouting for Girls on stage on the Saturday evening.
