Firm set to raise more money

News Posted: April 1, 2013

Hatchers Solicitors raised over £2,000 last year for a selection of local and national charities. Last year’s charities included Bliss, County Air Ambulance, British Hen Welfare Trust, Breast Cancer Care “We want any bra”, Macmillian Coracle Race, and Children in Need. A huge range of fun activities helped raised these funds from completing the Yorkshire Three Peaks, Queens Jubilee tea party, a staff bake-off, raffles and a sponsored slim.

This year 25 staff will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge and training is already underway. The chosen charities this year are RSH Children’s Ward, Birmingham Ronald McDonald House Charity and RSH Renal Unit. They will be supported by additional firm activities, like toss the pancake and a host of other fun fundraising throughout the year.

Lindsey Walker chief organiser of all their fundraising events said:

“All the charities that we support are very dear to us and involve staff, family and friends that we know have been affected.”

“We are very committed to helping a number of local and national charities. It’s not only an excellent way of raising money with fun events but it also brings the staff together. We are very much looking forward to our new challenges this year.”
