Victoria is a Chartered Legal Executive within the Wills, Trusts and Probate Team.  She is currently based at our Harlescott office having also previously worked from the Welsh Bridge and Whitchurch offices.

Victoria also regularly attends Wem Town Hall where Hatchers hold a Legal Surgery every Thursday morning from 9am – 12pm.

Victoria joined Hatchers in the Wills, Trusts and Probate Team in 2010 as a Probate Executive having worked in this discipline since 2007 at another local respected firm whilst studying her specialist subjects in law with the CILEx Law School. With the continued support of Hatchers, Victoria qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in March 2016.

Over the years Victoria has built up a solid client base and following. She has an empathy with elderly clients in particular and has extensive experience where mental capacity may be in question.

Victoria is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly, and is also registered as a Dementia Friend.

Areas of Expertise

Victoria prides herself on providing a down to earth, friendly, compassionate and professional service and is pleased to offer specialist advice on the following issues:

Wills (including end of life Wills), Estate Planning, Advance Decisions  (“Living Wills”), Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection matters and Deputyship applications, Deputy and Attorney Advice, Abuse of Attorney/Deputy Powers, and filing Deputyship Reports. She also offers Care fee planning and advice, to include Continuing Healthcare Funding, Funded Nursing Care payments and Deferred Payment Agreements.

Victoria is happy to meet with clients outside of the office in their own surroundings if this is preferred or at any one of Hatchers offices.

In my own time

Victoria lives in Shrewsbury with her husband and Cocker Spaniel, Daisy.

Victoria regularly enjoys trips across the border to Wales to admire beautiful Snowdonia or otherwise exotic holidays abroad to experience different cultures and cuisines.

  • First job: Auxiliary nurse in a Care Home
  • Favourite Food/Drink: Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Egg/Champagne
  • Ambition: To get to the bottom of my ironing pile!
