From Monday 17 November 2025, the Ministry of Justice has increased the fee to register a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) with the Office of the Public Guardian (OPG).
The new OPG registration fee is £92 per application, or £46 for applicants who are eligible for a fee reduction.
This fee is payable on every application (unless an exemption is applicable) and is in addition to legal fees.
