As the current financial year draws to a close, staff at Hatchers Solicitors have been reflecting on another year of growth and success for the firm. Looking ahead to the new year, the firm is pleased to announce that a number of staff have been promoted as a reflection of their experience and overall contribution to the firm and its development.

Emma Jones will be taking up the post of Practice Manager, a key role in the senior management team. Emma joined Hatchers in 2003 initially as an Administration Assistant. Over the years she has taken on a wide range responsibilities, and in recent years has made a growing contribution to the management of the firm. Emma has also continued her studies to achieve qualification as an Associate Member of the CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel Development). The new role is a recognition of Emma’s dedication, competence and commitment.

Two of Hatcher’s team of solicitors have achieved the required standard to become Associates. Sarah Jane Smith is a highly experienced Family lawyer with a wealth of management experience, having been head of the Family team at her previous firm for almost 15 years. She joined Hatchers roughly a year ago, and thanks to her hard work and leadership the Family team has gone from strength to strength.

Jennifer Woods has been at the firm a little longer, having joined in 2015, and works in both the Dispute Resolution and Injury Claims Teams. She is also a valued member of the growing Agricultural Team, due to her own agricultural and farming background.  Always a fantastic ambassador for the firm, Jennifer regularly attends networking events with the Chamber of Agriculture and MMBEN as well as being involved in various internal committees such as best practice and marketing development.

Last but not least, Hatchers are very pleased to announce that Rebecca Beaman will begin training as a solicitor in 2018. Having joined the firm last summer she spent her first few months working as a paralegal, and has quickly become a valued member of the firm. Rebecca will now begin the next stage of her career. She will work with various different teams to enable her to gain an understanding of the range of legal services that the firm offers to clients.

Commenting on the promotions, Jacinta Walmsley, partner at Hatchers said, “We are delighted to be able to share such positive news, and congratulate the members of staff in question. As an accredited Investor in People, we value our staff, and offer them every opportunity to fulfil their potential through structured career paths and established appraisal frameworks.”
