Samantha is a Legal Executive and Accredited Police Station Representative in our Criminal Department. She represents clients attending interview under caution, which includes both individuals detained in custody, and individuals attending on a voluntary basis. She also represents clients who are being interviewed by other prosecuting bodies, such as the Department of Work and Pensions and the RSPCA.
For clients charged with criminal offences, Samantha applies for legal aid on their behalf and arranges for them to be suitably represented in court. She also works alongside barristers to help prepare her clients’ cases for trial, which can include approaching and obtaining statements for defence witnesses, reviewing telephone data, and arranging assessments with medical professionals.
Before joining the firm in 2015, Samantha completed her degree in Criminology and Sociology at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2011, and went on to complete her Police Station Accreditation at Cardiff University in 2017.
In her spare time, Samantha enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and she is also a keen runner.
