Main responsibilities

Duties will include (but are not limited to)

  • Preparing documentation
  • Communicating with clients and third parties
  • Filing documents to deadlines
  • File management – opening, client due diligence, billing and closing/archiving
  • Compliance procedures

Qualifications

  • Good standard of education with a minimum of 5 GCSE’s at grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)

Experience

  • Minimum of 12 months experience in a Legal Secretarial/administration/support role
  • Experience of using Microsoft 365 applications

Skills and Capabilities

  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage conflicting demands in a calm, efficient manner
  • Excellent communication skills and a friendly helpful approach to all tasks
  • Dedication to meeting deadlines and prioritising tasks
  • High level of numeracy
  • Excellent IT skills (previous experience of using a case management system would be an advantage, but is not essential as full training will be provided)

Location

Shrewsbury office. Please note this role is entirely office based, and does not involve working from home.
