On 22 January, we travelled to Birmingham to present a cheque to The Ronald McDonald House.

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is an independent Charity which aims to provide free ‘home away from home’ accommodation at hospitals across the UK, enabling families to stay close to their child and maintain a degree of normal family life.

The charity is close to our hearts as the house provided a place to call home for a member of our staff whilst her young daughter was being treated at the children’s hospital.

Jessie, our Marketing Coordinator was amazed by the facilities, she said:

“I am so glad that we have raised money to help this fantastic charity. The house itself is quite amazing, with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I can imagine that it is a nice place to take a moments rest at a stressful and upsetting time. It was great to be shown around by Ffion, she was very relaxed there and was quick to remind the staff that she was expecting ‘Waffle Wednesday’!”

Hatchers donated £668.14 to the charity.
